RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Duke Center for Truth, Racial Healing & Transportation (TRHT)
September 2021 - Present
Advisor: Prof. Patricia Garrett-Peters
-
Movement Through Racial Healing and Justice
-
Extracted survey data, and conducted cluster analysis to explore statistics movement, and identified RxRacial Healing TM Circle (RxRHC) participants' attributes such as age, ethnic and racial identity;
-
Performed social network analysis (focusing on ego-network analysis and social capital tools) to explore relational movement through the perception of belonging, connectedness, and cohesion;
-
Categorized the emotion category, intenseness, and orientation of feeling statement of RxRHC participants. Discovered the feeling alternation trend: participants become more aware of their emotion.
